At the British High Commission in Colombo, on International nights in the club, at the far end of the High Comm's gardens, Darren would cook up a storm to keep the ravenous crowd happy. I suffer from a severe garlic allergy and Darren, while being extremely busy, never forgot and always took the time to make a separate portion of food for me. His kindness and caring for others was always appreciated by those of us who knew what a good heart he had. Missing you already Dazza.
